Here is a glimpse of what we have done so for:  multiple staff luncheons, parent seminars, college road map, SAT prep class, holidays gift cards to staff and teacher, and the latest event – furry friends on campus.   Please remember 100% of your contribution goes directly toward the students and teachers. 

Membership and Donation

For those who have contributed, we truly and gratefully appreciate your support!

Here is how you can help:

  1. Become a member. Membership costs only $10 per member. In these challenging times, being a member is important, so you get to vote to influence our students’ educational experience! Anyone can become a member – a family member or even a friend from the community. Becoming a member DOES NOT mandate attending the monthly PTSA meetings!
  2. The suggested donation per student this year is $185 (includes $175 annual donation plus membership for one).
  3. One-and-Done: This is a great option for families that want to do the donation in one shot. You can make a one-time donation of $560 ($150 savings over 4 annual $175 donations!!!). The amount $560 includes the one time donation, $550 plus membership for one.

TOTEM

Totem is the Electronic Membership System adopted by the California State PTA. For those who would like to use Apple Pay, this is a great option.  You can also choose to auto-renew your  membership next year.

Donate via Employer Portal

Some companies, such as Apple and Google, have their own internal Benevity portal from where you can donate to the Cupertino High PTSA and the employer will automatically do corporate matching of your donation. Please check with your employer if they support corporate matching and how you need to donate in order to get the matching grant. Please inform us via email to membership@tinoptsa.org in case you are making a donation via your employer so we can track your donation. See the steps below for the Matching Grant application for more information on this.

Matching Grants

Please take advantage of your company’s matching grant, some companies are even giving out holidays matching.  What a great way to help our school!

Please reach out to treasurer@tinoptsa.org OR membership@tinoptsa.org if you need a receipt to apply for the matching grant.

Steps to apply for a matching grant:

When you are applying for your MG please look for Cupertino High School PTSA OR use our tax ID # – 77-0044702.  Please verify the school address: 10100 Finch Ave, Cupertino, CA 95014.

Please write your full name on the “Donor’s Name” column/field and/or on the “Comments” section that we can identify your funds.
Please forward us your MG application confirmation email/receipt to treasurer@tinoptsa.org OR membership@tinoptsa.org so that we could track your funds.

Request for Staff Appreciation Donation

This year we are requesting donations for staff appreciation events due to the higher costs driven by the pandemic related restrictions. Typically, we would have food donations from the community for staff appreciation events. But, post pandemic guidelines restrict us to using individually packaged food items for such events, and this has significantly increased the cost of staff programs.

Our staff at Cupertino High is among the best in the state and they deserve every bit of appreciation that we can give for their hard work and patience working with the students in these challenging times.
