Subject: School Closure; Distance Learning

Dear Pioneers and Pioneer families,

As many of you have no doubt heard by now, the Fremont Union High School District and the rest of Santa Clara County Schools, including Cupertino High School, will be closed for the next three weeks, beginning on Tuesday, March 17th through Friday, April 3, 2020.  This time frame may be extended depending on new information that emerges in the interim.

We will continue instruction for our students, with staff providing lessons and assignments through our online tools.  These lessons will begin on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. Please be prepared to login to School Loop, Google Classroom, and/or Schoology to access these lessons and assignments.

If your family will need support with a computer and/or wifi access, please contact Melina_Nafrada@fuhsd.org to access that support.

All school activities will be cancelled for the duration of this three-week period.

CHS and the District Office will remain open and we’ll be back in touch regarding meals, special education services, and other support that we will provide for our families.

It is so important that students stay home and minimize in-person social contact as much as possible to help keep everyone safe.

Please stay safe everyone and stay tuned to this channel for more information as it becomes available.

Sincerely,

Ms. Tomberlain

Principal
