VOLUNTEERING BUILDS COMMUNITY
Please volunteer to help out at school activities. It’s a great way to stay in touch with the
happenings at CHS and a great way to get to know other parents, staff and teachers. We need
parent volunteers on and off during the year for a variety of activities and events. We’ll send
you details of each event so that you can choose to volunteer if you have time.Even a couple
of hours here and there makes a big difference!

TYPES OF VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES
There will be a number of activities through the year such as:
- Safe Routes to School Walk or Roll Day – help hand out tickets and free donuts
- Staff Appreciation brunches and lunches – bring food, help serve, cleanup
- Blood drives – serve refreshments to students who give blood
- Career Fair – speak at the fair or facilitate
- Spring Fest
- Senior Prom
- Grad Night Party
- Tournament of Bands and more!
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED
PTSA membership is not required to be a volunteer. Signing up on this form is not a
commitment to volunteer, it simply tells us you’re interested. We will contact you as
volunteer opportunities come up and you’re free to sign up if available.
